Funeral Bouquets
Funeral arrangements
The moment someone close to you dies, some points are difficult, such as which flowers are appreciated and which are not? What kind of funeral arrangements can you choose from? And, where can you send the flowers? We will answer these questions so you don’t have to worry about them anymore.
The family’s wishes
When someone dies, it is customary for the family to send a bereavement card. The card describes where the farewell service will be held, but sometimes it also describes the wishes of the family and/or the deceased. Therefore, it is wise to first read the announcement card and then order the funeral bouquet. In the notice of funeral, the family can indicate if flowers are wanted and what kind of flowers the family would like to receive during the service. In doing so, it is neat to follow the wishes of the family.
Different funeral arrangements
There are many different kinds of funeral arrangements and that is what makes it so difficult. You have the Biedermeier, this flower arrangement is made in a ball and is often placed next to the coffin at a funeral or cremation. This is the most chosen form for funeral arrangements.
You also have a drop and a heart-shaped bouquet. These bouquets are often made with one particular colour and one type of flower that are placed close together in the bouquet.
There is also a standard funeral wreath. These wreaths are often used at farewell services.
Colours of flowers
Are you still having trouble deciding on an appropriate bouquet for a funeral? Then go for a white bouquet, which are always appreciated in principle. As the next of kin, it is nice to dedicate the flowers to a meaning that you yourself feel fits in with your own feelings about the situation.
